Data we collect
When you submit a form or email us, we collect the name, email address, message content, and any optional fields you provide (such as engagement interest, product rail, or preferred fieldwork window). Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and diagnostics.
Purposes
We use inquiry data to respond to scoping requests, prepare fee proposals, and maintain records of professional correspondence. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand which audit topics are read most often.
Legal bases
We process inquiry data to take steps at your request before a potential contract and for our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice. Cookie consent is obtained where required for non-essential cookies. See the cookie notice.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required by an engagement letter, dispute, or applicable law. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. If an engagement proceeds, data may be shared with named reviewers inside the practice as needed to deliver the work.
International transfers
Our practice is based in Taiwan. If a processor stores data outside Taiwan, we take steps appropriate to the transfer, including contractual safeguards where required.
Your rights
Subject to Taiwanese personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Contact hello@datasecurityhub.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority in Taiwan.
Children
This site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
